Hello friends @ Alchemy Acres, I adopted Casey November 4th and she has been such a joy. We bought our first house in September but something was still amiss, until Casey!!! She has made our house a home. Casey is doing great. We bonded on our long drive back to Grove City, Pennsylvania. Casey is a mamas girl, I can't go anywhere without her right beside me. Casey is very protective of me and her home. Casey loves to play with her toys (she has quite a few). She has learned how to sit, shake, lay down, stay and to catch her treats in the air (dad taught her the last one). She has also learned that before she comes in the house that she gets her paws wiped off. She is so smart and such a fast learner. Click on pictures to see full size! |

I renamed her Kaya, which is not only one of Bob Marley's CDs, but it means "togetherness" which is very fitting for how close we have become. Kaya is doing wonderful! I got her in May 2006 when she was only 2 months old, about 20 lbs. and now she's 55 lbs. and will be already turning 1 next month. Click on pictures to see full size! |

Hello Alchemy gang, thought you might like to see how BIG Homer has gotten. He is already up to 40lbs. As you can see his favorite toy is of all things a broom. He carries it everywhere. He will be getting neutered next month. I will keep you up to date on his growth spurts. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to have him. -The S family Click on pictures to see full size!

Hello, I'm writing to give you an update about Pearl... who I've renamed Daisy Mae, Daisy for short! She's doing great! I am going to attach some pictures of her and her furry siblings around the house! At first, we were worried about the family German Shepherd (Zoe) not getting along with her, but Daisy was very patient, and now she and Zoe are great friends! I'll send some pictures of the two of them playing tug of war together. Daisy loves the cats, too... Marble and Stripes. They're all getting along great! Click on picture to see full size!
