Hello to everyone at Alchemy Acres!!!! We adopted Kernel on Saturday and just wanted to give you guys an update. We did change his name to Gunner. He’s still trying to learn it though. On the way home in the car he was a little skittish but he is getting better. We gave him a bath and cleaned him up and now he is BEAUTIFUL!!! I brushed his teeth and believe it or not he does have white teeth!!

Thought I'd send a few more pics for you to enjoy. She's really come a long way in the 3 months since we adopted her. She is much better behaved - and hardly ever pees in the house. She's an excitement pee-er, so we may never get rid of that pesky little problem. But otherwise, she has learned to tell us when she's gotta go. She's still the friendliest little thing --- she wants to meet every person and pet that crosses her path. She enjoys going to the kids' baseball games and seeing all the people and activity.

Another Sarge Update:

We purchased a "Gentle Leader" head collar and boy can you tell the difference. Now I'M the one taking the dog for a walk, instead of the other way around! He's an enthusiastic boy! Toward the end of March, I was hospitalized and the one thing I wanted most was to go home and see my dog!!!!! Goodness, was he happy when I finally came home!

As you can tell from the pictures above, his favorite spot in the entire house is the corner of the bed. Sarge goes to the vet this month and we will see if his doggy diet has been working.
